THE INTERNSHIP
Climate Investment have an exciting opportunity for a Summer Intern to join our Operations Team for an 8-12-week placement (dependent on candidate availability).
The Operations team supports the firm across Finance, HR and IT, ensuring the smooth running of the organisation. During your internship, you will gain exposure to a broad range of operational activities and play a hands-on role in supporting the day-to-day functioning of the business.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Support the Operations team across finance, HR and IT-related activities.
- Assist with the management and optimisation of internal systems and tools.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Provide support on ad hoc cross-functional projects.
- Hands-on experience: Engage in real-world projects and gain practical experience in business operations within a climate investment platform.
- Mentorship and guidance: Receive mentorship from experienced professionals, providing valuable insights and career advice.
- Networking opportunities: Connect with professionals across the organisation and broader climate ecosystem.
- Impactful contribution: Contribute to projects that support the firm's mission of addressing climate change.
- Exposure to diverse perspectives: Collaborate with a dynamic team of professionals from various backgrounds.
- Exposure to senior stakeholders: Opportunity to support projects with leadership team members.
- Degree in a relevant area such as Business, Management, Economics or similar or operating experience in a climate-related platform.
- Strong organisational and analytical skills, with the ability to manage and interpret data.
- Proficiency in digital tools (Excel, PowerPoint, collaboration tools; familiarity with AI tools beneficial).
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across teams.
- Well organised, proactive and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Able to juggle multiple projects and priorities effectively often under time pressures.
- Interest in business operations, process improvement or organisational effectiveness.
- Experience with data management or systems/tools.
- Commitment to the mission of addressing climate change.
- The position is based in London, UK.
- Eligibility to work in the UK is mandatory.
- Our expectation is that the intern's working pattern will mirror the team's, namely in-office attendance on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and remote or in office work on the remaining days.
- Our internship rate is London Living wage.
