This is a unique opportunity to shape the narrative around a global climate summit that brings together business, government, and civil society to drive tangible impact.
In this role, you’ll help create standout brand moments, shaping announcements, activations, and thought‑leadership content that drives visibility and energises audiences before, during, and after the week. If you excel in high-energy environments and love turning major moments into meaningful engagement, we’d love to hear from you.
About the role
This is an exciting opportunity to support the marketing engine behind Climate Week NYC – a week-long summit that convenes hundreds of organisations, world leaders, and thousands of participants across New York City to accelerate climate action.
You’ll play a key role in the planning, development, and delivery of the event marketing, to build anticipation, drive participation, and capture the energy of the week as it unfolds. From crafting compelling narratives and creative content to amplifying real‑time moments across digital channels, you’ll help ensure Climate Week NYC reaches, inspires, and mobilises diverse global audiences.
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you’ll combine a passion for digital content, storytelling, insights, and data‑driven thinking to strengthen our influence and reach, helping to deliver Climate Group’s mission: accelerating climate action at speed and scale.
Key responsibilities will include:
Event delivery and amplification
- Help shape and deliver event launches, announcements, and partner activations, amplifying our brand and strengthening the visibility of flagship moments.
- Support key marketing workstreams, coordinating stakeholders and timelines to ensure audience journeys, event touchpoints, and messaging are aligned and consistently engaging.
- Develop content and storytelling formats that extend the life of live event moments, transforming on-the-ground activity into ongoing digital engagement.
Social media excellence and innovation
- Help deliver a drumbeat of social content for Climate Week NYC across LinkedIn, Instagram, and other priority channels, ensuring we remain a top-tier voice during the world’s biggest climate event.
- Deliver end-to end paid social campaigns that maximise budget and deliver results to engage our key audiences across industries and regions.
- Use real-time insights and performance data to shape creative iterations.
Compelling content and thought leadership
- Produce compelling thought leadership – articles, newsletters, interviews – that amplify Climate Week NYC’s themes and outcomes and elevate Climate Group’s global voice.
- Experiment with innovative content formats tailored to Climate Week NYC, such as visual explainers, behind-the-scenes storytelling, and speaker highlight packages, to create high-impact narratives for diverse global audiences.
Data, insight and strategic learning
- Manage the tracking and interpretation of social media, web, and channel analytics for Climate Week NYC, using dashboards to surface insights that strengthen event-based content strategy.
- Use insights to refine targeting, messaging, and channel mix in real time.
- Produce post-event performance reports that demonstrate impact to stakeholders and shape future creative direction for Climate Week NYC and other flagship events.
You’ll work in a highly collaborative, international environment, where a diversity of perspectives and experiences is valued and encouraged.
