Senior Conference Producer
Summary
What does it take to convene the world’s most influential climate leaders and turn conversation into action?
As Senior Conference Producer, you will lead the design and delivery of high-impact, commercially successful programmes across Climate Group’s global flagship events portfolio, including Climate Week NYC. You will work at the intersection of impact and income - creating compelling, outcome-driven content that attracts senior leaders from business and government while delivering value for partners and sponsors. This is a senior, strategic role for someone with deep climate knowledge, strong commercial instinct, and a track record of producing at the highest level.
At the heart of a collaborative, driven team, you will partner with sector experts, communications, sponsorship, and external stakeholders to shape agendas, secure speakers at the highest level, and evolve our global events strategy. You will also lead and develop others, bringing clarity, pace, and high standards to your work. With significant scope to innovate, influence, and grow, this role offers the opportunity to shape not only our events, but the organisation and wider climate conversation.
About the role
This role leads the curation of content across Climate Group’s flagship events in New York, London, and Singapore – spanning a portfolio that includes both globally established convenings and new, high-growth launches. You will design and deliver high-quality programmes that are at the forefront of the climate agenda and what is driving the global transition.
Working across the organisation, you will translate Climate Group’s priorities, extensive external research and sponsor priorities into clear, compelling agendas that resonate with global senior audiences. From evolving world-class, established events to shaping new propositions from the ground up, you will play a key role in ensuring our portfolio remains influential, commercially strong, and focused on driving real-world outcomes.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Lead the end-to-end development and delivery of content across Climate Group’s flagship events, ensuring programmes are of high-quality, relevant, commercial and outcome-driven
- Lead and apply robust research and insight gathering to shape event themes, agendas, and narratives that align with Climate Group’s strategy and reflect the global climate and policy landscape
- Act as the central point of accountability for content quality and validation for the Board, senior leadership team and other internal departments to ensure content reflects organisational priorities and supports both wider campaigns and commercial aims
- Identify, engage, and secure high-level speakers, including Heads of States and senior policymakers, CEOs and senior leaders from across sectors
- Build and maintain strong relationships with speakers, sponsors and key stakeholders, ensuring a high-quality experience from initial engagement through to delivery
- Partner with the sponsorship team to shape commercial content, support pitches and oversee the delivery of content-led activations while maintaining editorial integrity
- Actively identify and develop new strategic partnerships and growth opportunities, contributing to the commercial success of the events portfolio
- Drive innovation in event formats and audience engagement, continuously improving how we convene and deliver impact
- Lead and develop team members, providing clear direction, timelines, support, and high standards of delivery
- Act as a senior representative of Climate Group, contributing to strategic discussions in internal and external forums and helping shape the future direction of our events
You’ll work in a highly collaborative, international environment, where a diversity of perspectives and experiences is valued and encouraged.
