This is a unique opportunity to contribute to flagships events including Climate Week NYC, one of the world’s largest and most influential climate events in addition to supporting on the inaugural Opportunity Summit, taking place during London Climate Action Week.

About the role


This is an exciting opportunity for a Conference Producer with a strong interest in climate and sustainability events to join a highly ambitious team. You’ll help curate and deliver thought-provoking sessions that bring together top executives, policymakers, and industry leaders to inspire collective action and lead the end-to-end project management and delivery of both partner-led and editorial event content at the Opportunity Summit and Climate Week NYC.


You will champion ambition while ensuring structured, well-coordinated and on-time delivery of in-person sessions to the delight of our partners and internal teams whilst ensuring close alignment with the event’s key themes and messaging. Acting as a key point of contact for both internal teams and external stakeholders, offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to globally influential climate events while managing complex timelines, content workflows and stakeholder relationships.


Reporting to the Senior Manager, Content Producer, you will be well supported to play a critical role in ensuring that our events help drive Climate Group’s mission, bringing together the world’s most influential people to tackle climate change.


Key responsibilities will include:


Content and Agenda Development

  • Curate and develop thematic sessions from inception, aligning content with Climate Group priorities, audience interests, and revenue objectives
  • Identify, invite, and secure high-profile speakers and thought leaders for flagship and roundtable sessions
  • Provide strategic guidance on content submissions, ensure agenda coherence, and innovate session formats (e.g., audio moments, Q&A expansion, awards integration)


Sponsor and Project Management

  • Build and maintain strong sponsor relationships, ensuring alignment with event themes and value propositions
  • Oversee session timelines, logistics, and cross-team coordination, including workstreams across The Hub Live and other event elements
  • Support marketing and delegate teams with timely content, track milestones, and manage EDI objectives


Pre-Event and Onsite Delivery

  • Prepare and deliver speaker briefings, rehearsal calls, run-of-show documents, and all pre-event materials
  • Manage onsite session delivery, greet and brief speakers, troubleshoot issues, and ensure exceptional experiences for speakers and sponsors
  • Continuously review and improve content, speaker, and event processes to optimize delivery

About you

Essential

  • Strong experience in end-to-end conference production or content creation with an interest in sustainability
  • Experience in strong sponsor stakeholder engagement with the ability to effectively influence and provide constructive challenge when required
  • Proven ability to secure and manage high-profile speakers, including running briefing calls and overseeing session preparation
  • Demonstrated project-management skills, coordinating multiple workstreams, milestones, and cross-team inputs
  • Confidence to drive programme delivery and manage late-stage sponsor onboarding
  • High appreciation of commercial and financial drivers for businesses and NGOs
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships across a range of cultures, levels of seniority and geographies
  • Proven experience managing senior stakeholders, including C-suite and government
  • Motivated, professional, and diplomatic demeanour
  • Commitment to the mission of the Climate Group and having a strong understanding of our areas of work
  • An engaging team player with the ability to identify where support is needed and ‘fill in’ with time-sensitive suggestions as well balance strategic planning

Desirable

  • Proven experience producing high-quality B2B events
  • Strong knowledge of climate issues and sustainability drivers
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience working within NGOs or charitable organisations

Where you’ll work


Based in our London office, near the iconic Tower Bridge, you’ll enjoy a flexible hybrid working arrangement of five days in the office over the fortnight.


Our office is designed to support both collaborative work and focused individual time. It includes accessible facilities, a well-equipped gym, secure bike storage, and showers. Plus, we’re easy to reach by bike and public transport.

This is a fixed-term 6-month position The salary offered is £36,420 to £38,559 per annum, based on experience.
