Climate change is the big challenge of this century and young people hold the key to solving it. Climate Ed is an exciting young charity that provides high quality climate education to children across the UK, and enable them, their families and communities to reduce their carbon emissions.

Climate Ed started as a London-based charity but is now expanding to key regions across the UK. We are looking for someone highly motivated with experience of working with volunteers and schools to continue the development of the programme in a portfolio of towns and cities across the UK. This role will work with volunteers, schools, local authorities and others to ensure the successful roll-out of the programme and measurement of results. The successful candidate will need to be based in, or have easy access to, a major city in either Yorkshire and Humber (ie Leeds or Sheffield) or the Southwest (ie Bristol).

If you are passionate about helping young people understand climate change, address their eco-anxiety and become empowered to take action with their families and communities, we look forward to your application. Climate Ed is committed to encouraging equality, diversity and inclusion among our workforce. We welcome applications from people from all parts of the community, particularly from under-represented groups.

- Collate student, teacher and volunteer feedback and support the continued development of Climate Ed’s classroom resources.

- Work with CEO to raise funds for ongoing programme delivery across multiple regions.

- Help to promote the programme and charity on the website, social media and other marketing activity by providing programme-related content.
