Volunteer: Develop a Volunteer Recruitment Action Plan
This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro bono connections.
We would like to develop a clear action plan for how we can promote our volunteering role to relevant audiences in New York City, and begin executing this plan, leading to volunteer sign-ups. This volunteer will work with our team to determine priorities, research the community, and craft a responsive volunteer engagement plan.
This project will be essential in helping Climate Ed USA to launch its critical work in NYC. We know that there are many people out there who want to support our cause and we just need help in finding them.
We have a fantastic, thoroughly tested programme which we deliver in schools in the UK and now we want to trial it in NYC. We have lots of experience managing volunteers from all our work in the UK.
Climate Ed USA Mission: Climate Ed USA teaches children about climate change and inspires them to take action on the issue.
