We work within the climate ecosystem to foster innovation by connecting startups with funding, investors, education, and accelerator programs. Our remote team of above 50 members operates collaboratively to drive impactful, sustainable solutions for climate-related challenges. 

About the Role 

The Associate-ElectronVibe will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end planning and execution of programs under ElectronVibe. They will work closely with partner utilities, start-ups and ecosystem stakeholder to assess AI readiness, identify opportunities for technology adoption, coordinate pilot projects, facilitate data access and stakeholder engagement, support capacity-building initiatives, maintain program tracking and reporting systems, contribute to research and knowledge products, and assist in developing innovation frameworks, partnerships, and growth initiatives to drive digital transformation and impact across the power sector. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Embed within a partner utility or power sector organisation as CCF's on-the-ground representative, applying power sector knowledge and an understanding of AI and digital solutions to build trusted working relationships with key internal stakeholders across relevant departments. 
  • Co-design and implement a structured AI readiness assessment, identifying gaps, opportunities, and priority areas for digital and AI solution adoption within the utility's operations and planning functions. 
  • Support the facilitation of data access for pilot initiatives, applying knowledge of power sector data systems and operational constraints to navigate security and confidentiality requirements and establish data-sharing protocols. 
  • Co-design and support end-to-end pilot execution of AI and digital solutions — including scoping, milestone tracking, coordination between internal utility teams and solution providers, and progress reporting. 
  • Co-design and deliver internal capacity-building workshops, building awareness and capability among utility staff around AI adoption and open innovation approaches. 
  • Support the identification and engagement of internal champions who can sustain innovation momentum beyond the engagement period. 
  • Support the establishment of innovation processes and frameworks within the partner organisation. 
  • Maintain a regular reporting cadence to senior leadership within the partner organisation and CCF program management, flagging risks, decisions, and escalations in a timely manner. 
  • Support relationship management with utilities, startups, funders, and ecosystem partners to ensure alignment on objectives and roles. 
  • Maintain robust tracking systems — including KPIs, risk logs, and documentation — to monitor progress, outcomes, and impact. 
  • Produce reports and updates for leadership and external stakeholders, synthesising insights, learnings, and recommendations. 
  • Contribute to CCF's knowledge products, including applied research, case studies, and toolkits for the power sector. 
  • Support strategy and growth initiatives — concept notes, proposals, partner packages, as required to scale program impact 

 

Qualifications and Experience 

  • 5-8 years of experience in the power, energy, utilities, consulting, digital transformation, or innovation sectors. 
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Energy, Power Systems, Technology, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). 
  • Experience managing cross-functional projects involving multiple stakeholders.  
  • Prior exposure to utility operations, power distribution, transmission, renewable energy, or energy transition programs.  
  • Experience implementing technology, digital, analytics, or AI-driven initiatives.  
  • Demonstrated ability to engage senior stakeholders and drive organizational change.  
  • Experience working with government agencies, utilities, startups, technology providers, or development sector organizations is preferred.
