Partnerships Support Specialist (Data Products)
Reporting to: Head of Markets & Head of Partnerships
Location: Must be based within +/-2 hours of GMT
Our mission
Facilitating and promoting the growth of the sustainable debt market by providing stakeholders with the necessary products and services to support the growth of CBI.
The role
We are seeking a strong relationship manager with a keen interest in data products to work closely with our key stakeholders, acting as the first line of response to all incoming queries and data related issues.
Reporting to the Head of Market Data Products and the Head of Partnerships, the Partnership Support Specialist supports the usage of CBI’s Market Data by external stakeholders.
This includes :

  • supporting any questions on the content or format of data deliveries.
  • ensuring collateral (e.g., brochures, presentations, etc) are up to date and correct, and
  • supporting how the whole range of products is presented externally (e.g., through the website).

The post holder will also:

  • conduct pitches and help potential partners conduct due diligence on our products and services.
  • support internal and external requests for ad hoc data needs.
  • build, maintain and strengthen relationships with data users globally, by seeking feedback and input into the Market Data team’s product development and resource prioritisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Assist in the formulation of business development strategies in Europe and the US
  • Build a network of stakeholders at key clients
  • Client origination, acquisition, and conversion
  • Client onboarding in coordination with relevant CBI teams
  • Responsible for strengthening existing relationships and long-term client retention
  • Originating and sizing up-selling opportunities for all sponsorship projects.
  • Tailor and deliver CBI content (e.g., education, awareness and briefing sessions)
  • Deliver relevant training courses on an occasional basis
  • Work with the Partnerships team on the implementation of strategies and processes
  • Administrative updates e.g., CRM and other administrative systems
  • Support CBI team activities as required
  • Keep internal and Senior Leadership Teams appropriately informed

Requirements
What you'll need...

  • Graduate’s degree in Business or Economics, (Climate) Finance or related fields
  • 10 years+ of experience in working with key relationships, marketing communications, or relevant experience in communications and project management
  • Experience and confidence dealing with high-level stakeholders and senior management
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Flexible and self-motivated, with capacity to multitask and prioritise, managing multiple projects with different teams and/or partners, meet tight deadlines and work under pressure in a high-paced environment
  • High degree of autonomy and independent judgement with excellent troubleshooting and follow-through skills
  • Understanding and/or knowledge of financial & capital markets especially on the buy side and/or of climate change issues
  • Fluency in written and spoken English
