Job Title: India Resilience Taxonomy Manager

Location: Remote - India

Salary: INR 5,000,000 - 6,000,000 DOE

How you'll contribute:

Drive local CBRT development in India in alignment with the global CBRT framework under the guidance of the Global Resilience Taxonomy Manager. Lead efforts in localisation of the CBRT, conduct annual updates, and develop intuitive guidance and tools while establishing robust internal processes for taxonomy.

Serve as the key contact for Adaptation and Resilience in India - Support engagement with policy makers, financial sector stakeholders, and issuers by offering expert insights and supervising the CBRT India analysts.

Manage Thematic Working Groups (TWGs) - Collaborate with consultants and stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables, provide direction to Resilience Taxonomy Coordinators and analysts, oversee anchor partners, and create effective workplans for TWGs.

Facilitate adoption and integration - Work closely with Climate Bonds teams, particularly India, Taxonomy, Standards, Market Intelligence, Capacity Building and Technical Assistance to champion the local taxonomy and weave it into national investment strategies and regulations.

Engage stakeholders and forge partnerships - Cultivate relationships with financial institutions, investors, and government bodies to collect insights and evaluate the efficacy of the taxonomy.

Keep an eye on policy and market developments - Remain ahead of the latest policies and best practices in adaptation and resilience finance.

Funding and resource management - Assist in fundraising initiatives and grant applications to secure sustainable resources for the advancement of CBRT.

Requirements

  • You have solid experience in A&R in India
  • You have a solid grasp of sustainable finance concepts.
  • You bring deep knowledge of A&R solutions in India and a strong stakeholder network.
  • You have experience conducting Vulnerability and Physical Climate Risk Assessments.
  • You're a strong writer who can communicate technical content clearly.
  • You've led multi-stakeholder initiatives or frameworks.
  • You excel at stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
  • You have strong analytical, research, and strategic thinking skills.
  • You can deliver projects independently with a proven track record.
  • You can manage complex, multi-partner projects.
  • You're fluent in written and spoken English.
  • You have an existing network in A&R finance
