Fundraiser for Public EU & Germany Grants - Climate Tech (Paid Role Potential)

Apply now

If you’re deeply concerned about climate change and the ongoing destruction of the environment, yet excited about the opportunity to actively work on a meaningful solution, this role could be a good fit for you.

Who we are:

We are Climate Accountability API, a newly established climate tech nonprofit organization based in Berlin. Currently, we are the world's leading provider of real-time data (APIs) on global warming and atmospheric greenhouse gas concentrations. We serve more than 80,000 devices at no cost. Recently, we were honoured to win the national competition for "The E.ON Foundation's European Climate Fund," securing a €10,000 prize. These funds will be used to develop our prototype: an open ESG database and a suite of software solutions designed to inform the public about the environmental and social impact of companies operating in the European Union and the world. By empowering individuals and companies with this information, we aim to shift resources away from carbon-intensive businesses toward more green alternatives, accelerating the transition to a sustainable future.

Your Role

We are seeking a skilled and mission-driven Fundraiser with hands-on experience in securing European Union and German-based grants for climate-related, software, or data-driven projects. You will play a key role in identifying funding opportunities, helping with the preparation of high-quality applications, and helping us secure the financial support needed to scale our impact. In addition, you will actively support partnership development, identifying and engaging potential consortium partners, coordinating contributions for joint proposals, and helping to build and maintain the networks required for successful European collaborative projects.

  • Support the creation of a sustainable fundraising strategy for long-term growth.

  • Collaborate with the founder and team to align funding efforts with project milestones and impact goals.
