You could be progressing your career at a scaling tech start-up that is helping to build a smarter, more flexible energy system across the Netherlands.
The business is developing technology that connects distributed energy assets and coordinates when energy is released, helping balance demand and optimise the grid during peak periods. With a recent funding round and backing from the Dutch government, it's an exciting time to join as the company scales.
As a Software Engineer you'll take ownership, working across the full development lifecycle across a range of projects, mainly backend Python focussed within a small, collaborative team, building software that directly supports energy optimisation.
Location / WFH:
You can work from home most of the time, meeting up with colleagues in the Amsterdam office 1-2 times a month.
About you:
- You have experience in energy optimisation / energy technology e.g. EV, home energy, smart grids, demand response or similar
- You have strong Software Engineering experience, ideally with Python
- You're comfortable working in a fast paced start-up environment with a high degree of ownership
- You have strong problem solving skills and an interest in building technology with real world environmental impact
- You're collaborative with fluent English language skills
