Are you an experienced and detail-oriented leader with a passion for efficiency and continuous improvement? Join our team as a Manufacturing Production Team Lead! We are a leading provider of solar lighting and smart poles, and we're looking for someone to drive our production processes and ensure we meet our goals for quality, safety, and productivity.
In this role, you will be a key player in our manufacturing operation, serving as a mentor and hands-on leader for a diverse team.
What You'll Do
Lead the manufacturing team to ensure production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols are met.
Strengthen a culture of continuous improvement by implementing and promoting methodologies like 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Poka-Yoke, 6 Sigma, and Kaizen.
Mentor and develop team members on continuous improvement philosophies, providing guidance to foster individual growth and team development.
Troubleshoot system-related issues and assist with customer service inquiries when needed.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality assurance, etc.) to resolve production issues and drive process improvements.
Utilize MS Office and other software to analyze data, create reports, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor production metrics.
Monitor and manage inventory levels, material usage, and equipment maintenance to minimize downtime.
Maintain compliance with all company policies, safety standards, and regulations.
Load and unload materials and prepare finished goods for shipping.
What We're Looking For
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Manufacturing experience, with a background in solar or LED lighting manufacturing being a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software for data analysis and reporting.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and engage a diverse team.
Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) to effectively lead and translate goals for the team.
Strong knowledge and practical application of continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Poka-Yoke, 6 Sigma, Kaizen).
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
Experience in aluminum and steel welding is a plus.

Base Pay: $24 - $27/hr, plus bonuses.
