Salary range: $110,000 – $125,000 base
Summary:
Our client in the Energy sector is looking for a Senior Sales Manager to spearhead business development and account strategy initiatives with major automotive and Tier 1 manufacturing clients. This pivotal position is tasked with enhancing the company's presence in the North American battery market. The perfect candidate will possess a robust background in chemical materials and have experience of overseeing significant enterprise relationships across both technical and commercial domains.
Duties:
- Take charge of account strategy, manage relationships, and foster revenue growth with essential OEMs and Tier 1 suppliers.
- Convert customer requirements into practical internal strategies involving sales, technical, and R&D teams.
- Oversee contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and commercial planning.
- Create and present technical sales proposals and presentations.
- Keep track of market trends and pinpoint business development opportunities.
- Work collaboratively across departments to facilitate new product launches and customer onboarding.
- Act as a company representative at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
Requirements:
- 5 to 8 years of experience in technical B2B sales within the chemical materials or battery sectors, with extensive expertise in electrolytes, lithium-ion battery systems, and OEM procurement processes.
- A demonstrated history of successfully managing strategic accounts and securing significant contracts, complemented by strong communication, relationship management, and negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in English is essential.
Education:
- Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related discipline
