Climate tech doesn't have a technology problem. It has a commercialization problem. The most important clean energy innovations of our generation are sitting in labs, in pitch decks, and early-stage startups struggling to reach the buyers and investors who need them most.

That's where we come in.

Cleantech Growthlab is a specialized B2B growth marketing partner for climate tech companies in energy, mobility, and sustainability. We work with companies like Kathairos Solutions, Loopback Systems, and enSights.ai to build zero-waste growth engines that generate high-quality sales pipeline, reduce customer acquisition costs, and help founders prove their commercial viability.

Our work is accelerating the clean energy and sustainability transition, one growth system at a time.

The role

We're looking for a Marketing Associate to support Client Strategy with the day-to-day execution that keeps our client campaigns moving.

You'll be embedded in real B2B cleantech campaigns from week one, learning how world-class growth strategies actually get built and executed. The goal is to grow into a full-time member of the Growthlab team.

Your immediate contribution will be across campaign updates, research, SEO and AEO execution. Helping implement the strategies our team designs, with exposure to content operations, social media, analytics, and eventually paid media as you develop.

What you'll actually do

You'll work closely with our client strategist, performance lead, and founder to keep projects on track and campaigns performing. Day-to-day, that looks like:

  • Publishing and formatting content across CMS platforms with attention to SEO best practices
  • Supporting LinkedIn content scheduling and engagement tracking across client accounts
  • Pulling basic performance reports from Google Analytics, Search Console, and ad platforms
  • Assisting with SEO execution tasks: on-page updates, meta descriptions, internal linking, AEO-optimized content formatting
  • Coordinating tasks, updating project trackers, and flagging blockers before they become problems
  • Researching competitors, keywords, and market signals to support client strategy
  • Supporting email platform tasks and campaign logistics as needed

What we're looking for

You don't need to be an expert. While the following skills will count in your favour, you don't need to be fluent in all of these. You should be comfortable enough to learn fast and execute with direction:

  • Content formatting & CMS/SEO literacy: You can publish and format content cleanly inside a CMS (WordPress, Webflow, or similar), understand basic on-page SEO principles like headings, meta descriptions, and internal linking, and care about getting the details right.
  • Social media platform literacy: Especially LinkedIn. You understand how the platform works, what good B2B content looks like, and can manage scheduling, formatting, and basic engagement tracking without hand-holding.
  • Basic analytics fluency: You're comfortable pulling reports in Google Analytics or Search Console, reading performance data, and flagging what's moving in the right direction (and what isn't).
  • Basic email platform familiarity: You've worked in at least one email tool (Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar) and can navigate campaign setup, list management, and basic reporting

You're a fit if you have some familiarity with digital marketing tools and channels (LinkedIn, Google Analytics, a CMS, email platforms), and you bring the following to work every day:

  • Attention to detail: you catch the things others miss, and you care about quality
  • Proactive independence: you don't wait to be told twice; you figure things out and ask smart questions
  • Clear communication: written and async-first, you keep people informed without being asked
  • Organizational instincts: you naturally build systems to stay on top of moving pieces
  • Eagerness to learn: you're early in your career and genuinely excited to grow fast

Bonus if you've had exposure to SEO tools (Ahrefs, Semrush, SurferSEO), have an interest in climate or sustainability, or have any experience in a B2B or agency environment.

What you'll get

  • Real experience on live B2B campaigns in one of the most important industries in the world
  • Mentorship from a senior, cross-functional team with deep expertise in SEO, paid media, GTM strategy, and content
  • A clear growth path toward a full-time role as the agency scales
  • Exposure to the full stack of modern B2B growth marketing: strategy, content, SEO/AEO, paid media, analytics, and marketing ops
  • A team that treats your development as a priority.

About the team

We're a small, senior, fully remote team of operators, strategists, and system builders. We take our craft seriously and we take the mission seriously. We believe that the companies solving the hardest problems in energy and sustainability deserve marketing partners who are just as committed as they are.
