We are an economic regulator accelerating carbon abatement for Australia. We do this by administering Australian Government schemes to measure, manage, reduce and offset carbon emissions in Australia.
Our role is determined by climate change law. We administer schemes that contribute to the Australian Government climate target of reducing emissions to 43% below 2005 levels by 2030 and Net Zero by 2050.

About the Role
As a Manager working within the Digital Services Branch, you will work in an area responsible for the design, development, and delivery of digital solutions, as well as the ongoing sustainment and enhancement of production systems. The workforce is geographically dispersed and made up of multidisciplinary teams operating under the Scale Agile Framework (SAFe). These functions are critical to CER’s business model, and the role therefore requires strong customer engagement skills. You will be accountable for the effective management and oversight of the output, productivity, performance and culture of the section.
The role involves leading technical teams to deliver core systems under SAFe, building strong stakeholder relationships, and contributing to strategic planning and long-term direction. You will drive branch and agency priorities, foster a collaborative and high-performing culture, and coach staff to embrace change and continuous improvement. As part of the leadership team, you’ll promote trust and alignment while supporting the agency’s digital transformation and maturity uplift.
