Our role is determined by climate change law. We administer schemes that contribute to the Australian Government climate target of reducing emissions to 43% below 2005 levels by 2030 and Net Zero by 2050.

About the Role


We are seeking motivated and collaborative professionals to join the Value Management Office as an Assistant Program Manager.


The section is seeking applicants to fill immediate and anticipated vacancies and to create a merit pool for future similar vacancies across the branch and/or agency.

Role, Responsibilities and Duties


The Assistant Program Manager plays key leadership role within the Value Management Office. The position is responsible for delivering high quality program governance, reporting, benefits tracking, and external assurance activities. The role manages complex work, provides strategic advice, partners with senior stakeholders, and leads uplift initiatives that strengthen the Value Management Office’s effectiveness and the agency’s transformation outcomes.
