Energy Efficiency Engineer (Remote Work)

We are currently partnered with an established energy engineering firm that works with commercial and institutional buildings throughout the New York City region. They are looking for an experienced Senior Energy Engineer with hands-on experience in energy efficiency, retro-commissioning, and building optimization projects. Perform energy audits, retro-commissioning, and building performance assessments Evaluate HVAC, controls, and building automation systems Identify and develop Energy Conservation Measures (ECMs) Complete energy savings, feasibility, utility, and financial analyses Troubleshoot building systems and identify operational improvements Support implementation, functional testing, and performance verification Work closely with building owners, facility teams, contractors, and engineers Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related discipline ~5+ years of experience within energy engineering ~ Strong experience with retro-commissioning and energy efficiency projects ~ Experience working on commercial buildings across the NYC region ~ Strong knowledge of HVAC, BAS/BMS, and building controls ~ Experience developing Energy Conservation Measures ~ Knowledge of NYC energy regulations and utility incentive programs preferred ~ Opportunity to work on complex commercial energy projects throughout NYC Exposure to energy efficiency, decarbonization, retro-commissioning, and building optimization projects Long-term progression within an established engineering team If you're interested in this Senior Energy Engineer opportunity, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your resume.
