We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Environmental Sustainability Officer to join our Natural Environment and Sustainability team.
Using your exceptional sustainability and climate resilience knowledge, you will be responsible for preparing and implementing strategic and operational plans and liaising with relevant stakeholders. Coordination, implementation, monitoring and continual improvement of our sustainability and emission reduction initiatives will see you thrive in this position.
Liaising closely with our Climate Action and Sustainability Working Group you will lead community engagement to make a real impact within our community.
In addition, you will have the opportunity to support the wider team in a wide variety of environmental aspects including coastal, natural resource management, environmental education and legislative actions.
It goes without saying, you will be a go getter that loves a challenge, with outstanding communication skills and enjoys problem solving in a practical sense.

What we offer you
Conditions of employment are in accordance with the City of Bunbury Employee's 2024 Enterprise Agreement with Level 5 or Level 6 salary of $96,705 or $105,044 gross per annum depending on qualifications and experience.
