Job Title: Director of Government AffairsLocation: Washington D.C. (hybrid)

About CCL:

If you're tired of climate being a fight and you'd rather help fix it, we’re glad you found us. At Citizens' Climate Lobby (CCL) and Citizens' Climate Education (CCE), we start from a simple belief: the people you disagree with usually care about the same things you do, like their kids, their town, and their livelihood. We find that shared ground and build from it, which is how you get climate solutions Congress can pass and that last past the next election.

At CCL/CCE, you'll help turn that philosophy into meaningful federal climate policy. You'll analyze legislation, develop policy recommendations, build relationships with congressional offices and other stakeholders, and help advance bipartisan solutions that can earn support across the political spectrum. You'll be part of a government affairs team that combines policy expertise, strategic advocacy, and the strength of a nationwide grassroots network to move climate legislation forward. We stay nonpartisan, listen first, and aim to treat everyone with respect, including people who start out genuinely skeptical.

If you want your values and your work to point the same direction, join us.
