We are currently seeking energized, innovative and driven Electrical/Electronic, Mechatronic and Telecommunication Engineering students in their penultimate year of study to join our team.

CitiPower, Powercor and United Energy own and operate the electricity distribution networks servicing 2 million customers located across 65% of Victoria.

What are we offering?
Applications are now being accepted from Electrical/Electronic, Mechatronic and Telecommunication Engineering students (or those with double degrees partnered with other disciplines) within their penultimate year who are motivated to join our 12-week paid 2026/2027 Summer Vacation Program. Most roles are based at our Melbourne (CBD) head office, however we also have opportunities that are based in our Glen Waverley, Bendigo, Ballarat or Geelong offices.
This is your opportunity to learn from industry experts and apply your knowledge to real-world engineering challenges. Our program will give you firsthand experience working on diverse technical projects that support Australia's energy transition. We have places available within our Network Planning, Network Communications, Secondary Assets and Design teams, where you will work alongside highly skilled professionals, solving problems and delivering outcomes.

To be eligible, you’ll need to:
- Have the right to work in Australia
- Be a student in your penultimate year of a Bachelor of Engineering degree or double degree, with an expected graduation date in 2027.
- Be available for 12 weeks of full-time work between November 2026 and February 2027
