Commercial Solar Electrician

Citadel Roofing and Solar is located in Vacaville; however, we have jobs all over the bay area.

Responsibilities:

• Successful installation of all the solar electrical equipment and batteries for commercial photovoltaic systems
• Be responsible for ensuring systems meet company standard job specifications, the National Electrical code and relevant local codes.
• Work independently with minimum supervision in a fast-paced, high-growth environment

Qualifications:

• A Journeyman Electrical License / State Certified Electrician Preferred
• Experience with 3-phase systems
• 2-5 years of experience as an electrician
• 2-5 years of experience in the solar industry
• Advanced proficiency in reading design documents and electrical drawings
• Advanced proficiency in troubleshooting
• Advanced knowledge of NEC codes
• Proficient in conduit bending up to 1-1/4” EMT

·         Must be willing and able to climb ladders, stairs and work on rooftops. Must be comfortable with heights.

·         Excellent customer service skills

·         Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·         Must have a high level of professionalism

·         Applicants should be in good physical shape with no lifting restrictions

·         Ability to work well with others

·         Must be reliable

·         Must have most electrical tools – some to be provided

·         Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen

·         Previous experience with Interconnections a plus

·         Experience with KCMIL wiring/2”+ conduit a plus
