Apply now

We are looking for a student who is interested in joining our team for the upcoming semester as an intern working with communications and project implementation support, starting February 2026.

Who are we?

cirka cph is a small Copenhagen based sustainability consultancy and project advisory. We are a group of six people trying to change the world by fighting for climate justice. We engage with people, municipalities, and organizations small businesses in their areas of work or activism, helping them overcome social, political and cultural challenges in achieving sustainability for all.

A big part of our work involves execution of funded sustainability oriented projects in the area of education, engagement and facilitation. The second part of work is providing consulting services to small businesses and organisations.

As a small company we have a very dynamic environment with every week looking different. But we always make sure to find time for a Monday meeting and lunch and laughs together.

What can you expect as an intern at cirka cph?

For one semester, you will officially join our team. You are welcome to participate in all our meetings, decision-making processes, exploration trips, and fun activities. We will discuss which skills you would like to practice and learn, which projects you would like to support, and which tasks you would like to take responsibility for. Of course, we will always be there to help and guide you.

Currently, our team needs the most help with communications. This involves creating a communication strategy and working on its implementation. You will also work with project teams to engage participants in projects and communicate sustainability findings on LinkedIn, in our newsletter, and on our website. For this reason, it would be beneficial if you had experience writing texts and using graphic design software like Canva and Photoshop.

Besides communications, there will be many opportunities to support project implementation, such as helping with planning and preparing workshops.

The start and end dates can be adjusted to fit your needs. This is an unpaid internship.

How can you apply?

Send a CV and a short motivation letter (max 1 page) to miroslav@cirkacph.com - Miroslav Lakota - with a Subject “Internship application [your name]”, before the 8th of January. Interviews with potential candidates will be held during week 3.

We appreciate human written motivation letters.
