Sustainability Coordinator

A Sustainability Coordinator is responsible for overseeing and coordinating sustainability initiatives within an organization. This person will work closely with our End-of-Life Facilities, Logistics and research on materials. We are looking for this person to be proactive.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday 9 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement sustainability projects in line with organizational goals.
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure the integration of sustainable practices into existing processes.
• Collect and analyze data related to environmental impact, resource consumption, and other sustainability metrics.
• Prepare regular reports on sustainability performance for internal and external stakeholders.
• Stay informed about relevant environmental regulations and ensure the organization's compliance.
• Work with legal and compliance teams to navigate and adhere to sustainability-related laws.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including employees, suppliers, and community groups, to promote sustainable practices.
• Communicate the organization's sustainability goals and achievements to various audiences.
• Develop training programs to educate employees on sustainability practices.
• Foster a culture of environmental responsibility within the organization.
• Identify opportunities for resource efficiency and waste reduction.
• Implement strategies to minimize the environmental impact of the organization's operations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in sustainability.
• Identify and recommend innovative solutions to enhance sustainability efforts.
