Location: Addison, TX (In-Office)
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (shift-based)
Reports To: Director – Sustainability
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Overview:
CheckSammy is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Invoice Auditing Specialist to join our Addison office. This role is responsible for reviewing vendor invoices, verifying accuracy against quotes and contracts, and reconciling discrepancies to ensure financial integrity. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel skills, experience with vendor reconciliation, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Audit vendor invoices against quotes, contracts, and purchase orders to confirm accuracy
• Reconcile discrepancies and resolve issues directly with vendors
• File and maintain invoice records in CRM and order management systems
• Upload approved invoices to accounting systems for payment processing
• Track and report invoice statuses, exceptions, and discrepancies
• Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams regarding invoice resolution
• Support financial audits, compliance reviews, and reporting requests
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred (Accounting, Finance, or related field)
• 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable, invoice auditing, or vendor reconciliation
• Intermediate Excel skills (sorting, filtering, formulas, VLookups)
• Strong attention to detail, organizational, and documentation skills
• Ability to analyze financial discrepancies and resolve issues
• Familiarity with CRM and order management systems preferred
• Knowledge of solid waste and recycling industry a plus
