What You Will Be Doing
In this role as Inside Sales Representative Commercial Vehicle & Bus fleets you will be a true pioneer helping companies to electrify their fleet operations. As such, you are an important part of ChargePoint's exciting growth phase in Europe. Within the Commercial Vehicle & Bus team you can use your engaging communication skills and social trust building capabilities to engage new prospects and develop existing customers. Identify sales targets in multiple European regions, perform sales development calls, share findings and work closely with regional account managers, take sales responsibility for specific customer groups, provide company presentations and software demos and maintaining relationship to potential customers are a big part of your job - but that's not all.
We are looking for a team player who can support other team members across Europe with lead acquisition and in challenging opportunities. It's about making sure we're always in touch with our clients understanding their needs and guiding them into the future by providing them with the perfect solution so they can master the challenge of electrification. Being a part of ChargePoint means that you get a lot of freedom to take initiatives, apply what you have learned and work with other cross-functional team members from customer experience and software delivery to product management and finance.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
- Holding engaging discussions with potential target customers
- Prequalify leads with ability to understand needs, budget and decision making processes within customers and prospects
- Coordinate and conduct presentations, demos and training sessions
- Calls and video conferencing with prospects and customers
- Supporting the Commercial Vehicle & Bus team members with renewals,
tenders and complex projects. - Collaborating with regional sales teams in Europe
- Working closely with internal cross-functional teams such as Marketing, Solution Engineering, Customer Excellence, Support and Product Management
- Tender search, ownership and coordination
- Working with Marketing on lead generation and follow-up on marketing qualified leads
- Administration of prospects, accounts, sales opportunities and offers including weekly reporting.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate has a background in inside sales or sales development for software (3 years), preferably in SaaS solutions (Telematics, fleet management, EV, EV charging) and should be interested to learn with a high motivation to develop deeper skills about electric vehicle charging.
- Very good communication and presentation skills in at least two of the following languages: German, French, Italian, Spanish. Speaking even more languages is an advantage.
- Our company language is English and therefore fluent communication skills in English are mandatory.
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in business administration/economics or information technology preferred
- Strong willingness to learn also technical topics
- Capability to explain complex circumstances in an easy way.
- Knowledge and enthusiasm in the topics: digitalization, cloud and telematics, electromobility and charging
- Industry knowledge in public transport with buses, fleet management for commercial vehicles, maintenance and repair of commercial vehicles and/or EV charging.
Experience with SalesForce, Slack, Confluence, Jira, Seismic, LinkedIn, Outreach is beneficial
