What You Will Be Doing

As Product Manager for charge point operators (CPOs), you will be responsible for defining the software products and features that are necessary for owners and operators of chargers to monitor, configure, use and earn on their chargers. Key words are access control, wait list and pricing.

The owner of a charging station needs to be able to set access and pricing for different groups of drivers or vehicles. How do you do that if you have a large amount of public stations? Answering questions like these are crucial for our business and for the electrification of the world.

This exciting role involves collaborating with Customers, Sales, Customer Support, your fellow Product and Portfolio Managers, and Engineering to maintain and expand ChargePoint's leadership. You will be responsible for all CPO customers worldwide, most are in US and EU. You will work very closely together with the Product Manager for EMSPs (e-Mobility Service Provider), together you will define how in the future millions of customers will be able to use Chargers.

In this role, you will

  • Work with the commercial and technical teams to define what needs to be build in which order for CPOs
  • Work with fellow product managers to define requirements for a complete rebuild of our CPO and EMSP services.
  • Work with customers to see what they need


  • 5 years of experience in software product management and a track record of successfully delivering complex projects in cross-functional environments
  • Demonstrated commercial and technical acumen with a track record in delivering global products and understanding of local and regional differences.
  • Experienced at meeting with customers and partners, internal and external, to understand market requirements and translating them into technical requirements for engineering teams
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in the Electric Vehicle space is a plus
  • Experience in hybrid hardware/software environments, and IOT devices, is a plus
  • Ability to travel to understand customer requirements in all regions
  • Passionate about ChargePoint and our mission
  • Language: English
  • Curiosity & motivation to dive into a new industry with all its complexities and willingness to learn
  • Experience/Passion to work with multi-national teams across three continents
  • BS or equivalent technical degree is a plus
  • MBA or equivalent business experience is a plus
