What You Will Be Doing
The Senior HR Generalist (Fixed-Term) will manage core HR functions across multiple European countries (e.g., The Netherlands, UK, France, Spain, Italy), including employee onboarding, payroll-related activities, HR compliance, employee relations, and EU people data management. Acting as a key partner to People Team leadership, the role drives process improvements and ensures compliance with local labour laws.
Key Responsibilities
- Employee Lifecycle Management: Responsible for driving and documenting processes as to the employee lifecycle (end-to-end), ensuring compliance with local laws, and seamless employee experience.
- HR Data Management: Manage HR system actions (e.g., UltiPro), update people-related data, and assist with global HR technology projects. Handle monthly payroll inputs, review data, and resolve discrepancies in compliance with local requirements.
- Employee Relations: Assist in supporting employee relations cases (i.e., performance management, investigations, leaves and absence management, etc.)
- HR Projects: Support global People Team initiatives, providing insight from EU region, and tailoring global programmes/trainings for EU region.
- IT Coordination: Manage IT-related logistics for new hires and leavers, ensuring issuance of company equipment, recovery, and security.
- Employee Engagement: Organize in-office events and promote employee engagement initiatives.
- Benefits & Immigration: Assist with employee leaves, benefits administration, visa renewals, and compliance with work permits.
What You Will Bring to ChargePoint
- Knowledge of European labour laws and payroll processes.
- Proficiency in HRIS platforms (e.g., UltiPro).
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English & Dutch; additional European languages are desirable
- Experience with external payroll and benefits providers.
- Project management and process improvement experience.
Requirements
- 5 or more years of HR experience across multiple European jurisdictions required (e.g., The Netherlands, UK, France, Spain, Italy).
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field required.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and proactive
- Strong interpersonal skills and cultural adaptability
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
