Client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Controller to assist with month-end close, financial reporting, and strategic decision support for plant operations

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE CONTROLLER:

  • The Controller will oversee month-end close, including entries and reporting packages for the plant

  • The Controller will provide detailed analysis of KPIs to help management track performance

  • Maintain and analyze standard costs, variances, and inventory activity

  • Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes

  • Partner with operational teams to identify trends and drive process improvements

  • Analyze product margins, sales performance, and profitability to support strategic goals

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE CONTROLLER xrczosw

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 5+ years of accounting experience within a manufacturing environment

  • Strong Excel and ERP system experience

  • Proven ability to analyze financial data and communicate insights effectively

  • Experience with cost accounting or standard costing is a plus

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
