Salary: 80,000 to 90,000 plus Bonus

Our client, a nationally recognized company, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team at a key Florida site. This is a high-impact role for a detail-oriented finance professional looking to grow within a stable, growth-focused organization.

As a Senior Accountant, you'll be instrumental in driving financial accuracy, supporting leadership, and ensuring timely reporting for key operational units. This Senior Accountant will be exposed to cross-functional collaboration, special projects, and leadership visibility.

What the Senior Accountant will do:

  • The Senior Accountant will support the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting

  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP

  • Collaborate with department leaders to ensure budget accuracy and expense control

  • Maintain internal controls and assist with compliance and audit readiness

  • The Senior Accountant will participate in variance analysis and support ad hoc financial reporting

  • Assist with system improvements and streamline accounting workflows

  • Mentor junior accounting team members as needed

What the company needs in a Senior Accountant:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive accounting experience

  • CPA preferred, not required

  • Strong foundation in GAAP, internal controls, and month-end close processes

  • The Senior Accountant should be proficient in Excel and ERP/accounting software

  • Aerospace or manufacturing industry experience is a plus

  • The ideal Senior Accountant is collaborative, proactive, and detail-oriented
