Overview

A leading contractor focused on respecting the environment is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. This organization has a long-standing reputation for delivering complex infrastructure and energy projects across North America. In the Senior Accountant role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with US GAAP standards.

What You Will Do

  • Ensure consolidated financial statements comply with US GAAP and statutory requirements.
  • Assist with monthly and annual financial close processes, including preparation of consolidated statements.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Collaborate with ERP team to improve financial reporting systems.
  • Assist with FP&A reporting needs such as budgets, forecasts, equipment rates, and cash flow analysis.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting and CPA
  • 4+ years of accounting experience (public accounting audit preferred)
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. xrczosw
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and reporting tools (Excel, BI analytics).
