What You'll Do
- Manage and oversee the monthly general ledger close across multiple entities.
- Review and evaluate general ledger activity and ensure proper U.S. GAAP treatment for significant and complex transactions.
- Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable operations; assist with troubleshooting escalated issues.
- Drive process improvements to streamline the close timeline while strengthening internal controls.
- Partner with Payroll, Billing, Sales, and Operations on revenue recognition, margin analysis, and accounting accuracy.
- Support system enhancements, integrations, and upgrades-including testing and implementation.
- Prepare and review monthly P&Ls, division-level reporting, and quarterly financial statements (BS, IS, CF, Equity).
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and internal policies for all financial reporting and disclosures.
- Research and implement new accounting standards as needed.
What They're Looking For
Must-Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting from a U.S.-based, accredited institution.
- 3-6 years of total accounting experience.
- Public accounting (audit)
- OR a strong public/private blend
- OR corporate accounting with CPA completed
- Very strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas). xrczosw
- A polished, stable career history with clear progression.
Nice-to-Haves
- CPA or parts completed
- Experience reviewing the work of others (formal supervisory experience not required)
