Key Responsibilities
• Oversee daily accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger management.
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes; prepare financial statements and supporting schedules.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and variance analyses to support leadership decision-making.
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
• Manage annual audits and coordinate with external auditors and tax professionals.
• Implement and improve accounting procedures, internal controls, and reporting systems.
• Supervise and mentor accounting staff, fostering growth and accountability.
Core Competencies
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or MBA preferred.
• 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including at least 2 years in a Controller or Assistant Controller capacity.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
• Advanced Excel skills; ERP system experience (NetSuite, Sage, or Epicor preferred). xrczosw
• Proven ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
Location: Mishawaka, IN
Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday
Compensation: $90,000-$115,000 annually
