Senior Accountant - Construction Industry

As our Senior Accountant , you'll play a key role in driving financial accuracy, process improvements, and business insight across our expanding operations. You'll work closely with leadership and project teams to ensure sound financial management and help take our company to the next level.

What You'll Do

  • Manage month-end and year-end closings, journal entries, and account reconciliations

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and project cost reports

  • Partner with project managers to review budgets, forecasts, and job cost details

  • Support audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements

  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve financial reporting

  • Mentor junior accounting staff and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

  • 4+ years of accounting experience (construction industry strongly preferred)

  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and job cost accounting, AIA Billing

  • Proficiency in Excel and accounting software

  • Excellent attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills
