Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant:
- Maintain the general ledger and prepare journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations.
- Handle Job Costing, Work in Progress (WIP), and Percentage of Completion (POC) accounting for project-based operations.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports.
- Assist with month-end close activities, including reviewing journal entries and reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and financial regulations.
- Support management with budgeting, financial statement preparation, and other ad hoc projects.
Senior Accountant Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 3-5+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in WIP, Job Costing, or POC environments.
- Strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software (MS Dynamics 365 Business Central preferred).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities. xrczosw
