What You'll Do as the Senior Accountant:

  • Prepare and review journal entries, purchase orders, and voucher payments.

  • Perform monthly balance sheet and bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.

  • Analyze financial statements and assist with monthly variance and trend analysis.

  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of the annual Cost Allocation Plan.

  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and organizational accounting policies.

  • Lead or support special projects and ad hoc financial reporting as needed.

What You'll Bring as the Senior Accountant:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within a nonprofit or grant-funded organization.

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SharePoint and Outlook a plus.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

  • Strong communication skills and confidence working both independently and within cross-functional teams.
