About the RoleCFS is seeking a Senior Accountant to play a key role in managing financial operations and reporting. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with leadership, contribute to strategic decision-making, and ensure compliance with best practices.
What You'll Do- Perform account reconciliations and detailed financial analyses.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Support month-end close and annual audit processes.
- Manage payroll functions and train managers on best practices.
- Process donations and assist with donor relations and contract management.
- Lead staff training on financial policies and systems to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (or equivalent experience).
- 3-5 years of experience in general accounting (A/R, A/P, G/L, reconciliations).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and general ledger applications.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
