Our client, a growing food manufacturing company, is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join their expanding finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys improving processes as much as executing them.

In this role, you will take ownership of key components of the month-end close, ensure accurate and timely reporting, and support international accounting, consolidations, and intercompany activity across multiple global entities. Prior public accounting experience is highly valued, along with a strong process mindset and the ability to drive improvements across the function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with financial statement preparation and corporate reporting requirements
  • Manage consolidations and intercompany reconciliations
  • Lead and execute key aspects of the month-end and year-end close process
  • Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules
  • Support international accounting activities, ensuring alignment across regions
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and ensure data accuracy
  • Maintain and enhance internal controls and accounting policies
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and strengthen documentation
  • Support external audits, including preparation of schedules and responding to auditor requests
  • Assist with ad-hoc analysis and special projects as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • CPA or progress toward CPA strongly preferred
  • 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience; public accounting experience required or highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP, consolidations, and intercompany accounting
  • Experience xrczosw in manufacturing or inventory-driven environments a plus
  • Comfortable working with international entities and multi-currency environments
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems preferred
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong process mindset with a passion for improving workflows and documentation
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams

Salary Range: $85-95K
