About the Role

A growing financial services organization on the north side of Indianapolis is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial operations. The Senior Accountant will prepare and analyze financial data, support audits and tax compliance, and contribute to strategic initiatives alongside senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, manage month-end and year-end close, and maintain general ledger integrity
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for leadership and Board reporting
  • Partner with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure compliance and timely filings
  • Track cash positions, reconcile payroll and bank accounts, and maintain debt schedules
  • Develop dashboards and reports to highlight key performance metrics and support operational improvements

Ideal Candidate xrczosw Profile

  • 3-7 years of accounting experience with increasing responsibility
  • Public accounting background strongly preferred
  • CPA license highly preferred (or progress toward CPA designation)
  • Solid understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and tax regulations
