Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Financial Reporting Accountant:

  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for a portfolio of 10-12 properties
  • Perform bank and account reconciliations
  • Provide financial information to auditors, tax consultants, lenders, property managers, and partners
  • Assist with annual budget preparation, recoveries, 1099s, and sales tax filings
  • Process annual property tax bills and coordinate tax return preparation, including K-1 distribution to partners
  • Support preparation of construction draws and other special projects as assigned by the Controller

Qualifications of the Senior Financial Reporting Accountant:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field from an accredited university. CPA license preferred but not required.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with Yardi a plus
  • 5+ years of working experience in accounting. Commercial real estate accounting experience required
