Regional Sustainability Intern

YOUR ROLE
As part of the APAC Sustainability team, and reporting directly to the APAC Head of Sustainability, you will work on hands‑on projects that drive engagement and climate action across the Asia‑Pacific region, collaborating with teams from multiple countries to turn sustainability goals into real impact.

Working on real climate action – not just talking about it:
- Help run Engage for Good, our internal sustainability challenge that mobilises teams across Asia‑Pacific
- Review, validate and track sustainability actions from different countries
- Work closely with teams across APAC to encourage participation and share success stories
Get hands‑on with climate & carbon topics:
- Support CO₂ reporting for freight and logistics customers (yes, real data, real impact)
- Work with teams to explore decarbonisation solutions like low‑carbon transport and greener supply chains
- Learn how sustainability is delivered in a global logistics business — from theory to execution
Create ideas and move the needle:
- Research and test new, innovative sustainability ideas aligned with company climate targets
- Build benchmarks, questionnaires and surveys on green supply chains and responsible logistics
- Support customer‑facing sustainability projects and proposals
Engage and inspire people:
- Help organise quarterly employee engagement events on sustainability and climate topics
- Contribute to internal training programmes for Sales and Operations teams
- Support NGO and community initiatives when opportunities arise
WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- Students or fresh graduates curious about sustainability, climate action or ESG
- Passionate about environmental challenges and solutions and motivated to contribute to real-world sustainability actions (prior knowledge or exposure to CSR / sustainability is a plus, but not required)
- A strong communicator, comfortable working with different teams and cultures
- Motivated, proactive and comfortable working with people from different cultures
- Curious, proactive and keen to learn in a fast‑moving, regional environment
- Organised, analytical and keen to learn
- Comfortable with MS Office tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel (advanced Excel skills are a bonus, but not mandatory)
- 6 months commitment on internship
