The company focuses on developing an enzymatic biorefinery platform to produce industrial enzymes for sectors like textiles and wastewater treatment, alongside high-margin cellulose nanofibers (CNF) for sustainable materials. With a technology optimized for Indian biomass, Cellumantra promotes cost-effective, scalable, and circular manufacturing. Their work aims to significantly reduce farm-waste burning and decrease national dependency on imports.

Role Description

This is a full-time, remote position for a Nano Fibre Expert who will serve as a Co-Founder at Cellumantra Biorefinery Pvt. Ltd. The role involves developing cutting-edge nano fiber materials, overseeing R&D projects, and ensuring the scalability and quality of cellulose nanofiber production. Collaborating with both internal teams and external stakeholders to drive product innovation and commercialization opportunities is a key aspect of the role.

Qualifications

• Strong Analytical Skills for data interpretation, problem-solving, and process improvement
• Exceptional Communication abilities, with experience in presenting technical concepts to diverse audiences
• Proficiency in Sales and Marketing to identify business opportunities and collaborate on product positioning
• Expertise in Research, particularly in nanotechnology or biomaterials, with a focus on cellulose nanofibers
• Understanding of green biotechnology and enzymatic biorefinery processes is highly desirable
• Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of a startup environment and take on leadership responsibilities
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related field is preferred
