Ltd. is a DPIIT-recognized green biotechnology startup pioneering an enzymatic biorefinery platform to transform non-wood agricultural waste into industrial enzymes and advanced biomaterials. Addressing key environmental challenges, the company prioritizes revenue-generating enzyme production for industries such as textiles and wastewater treatment while focusing on high-value sustainable materials like cellulose nanofibers (CNF). With technology tailored to Indian biomass, Cellumantra enables cost-efficient, scalable, and sustainable production practices, reducing dependence on imports and minimizing agricultural waste burning.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for investors interested in supporting an innovative biorefinery startup. As an investor, you will actively engage with the Cellumantra team to support the commercialization of enzymatic solutions and sustainable materials. You will help scale the cost-efficient biorefinery technology and contribute to reducing environmental impact. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include analyzing investment opportunities, assessing market potential, liaising with stakeholders, and contributing to strategic decision-making for business growth and sustainability.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of investment strategies and financial markets
• Interest in sustainable technologies, green biotechnology, and circular economy principles
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to assess business models and financial viability
• Experience in startup investments, venture capital, or industrial finance
• Commitment to supporting sustainable and innovative projects
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
• Understanding of industrial processes related to enzymes, textiles, or sustainable materials is an advantage
• Prior investment experience in green technologies or biotech startups is a plus
