Our enzymatic biorefinery platform transforms non-wood agricultural waste into industrial enzymes for sectors like textiles and wastewater treatment, as well as high-value cellulose nanofibers for sustainable materials. Designed for Indian biomass, our cost-efficient and scalable technology reduces agricultural waste burning and lowers dependency on imports. At Cellumantra, we focus on creating solutions that drive both environmental and economic sustainability.

Role Description

This is a full-time role for an Investor Co-Founder within the agricultural waste management industry. As an integral part of our leadership team, you will play a key role in shaping the company’s strategic growth, securing funding, developing industry partnerships, and contributing to business expansion. Day-to-day responsibilities include engaging with stakeholders, identifying funding opportunities, formulating business strategies, and ensuring the company’s alignment with sustainable development goals. This is a remote opportunity with the flexibility to work from anywhere.

Qualifications

• Strong entrepreneurial mindset, business development, and leadership experience
• Expertise in investment strategies, fundraising, and financial planning
• Knowledge of biotechnology, agricultural waste management, and sustainable innovation
• Strategic thinking skills with a focus on scaling startups
• Established network across industrial, financial, and environmental sectors
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills
• Passion for sustainability and environmentally-driven business solutions
• Experience in engineering, biotechnology, or agro-based industries is a plus
