Cellumantra Biorefinery Pvt. Ltd. is a DPIIT-recognized green biotechnology startup developing an innovative enzymatic biorefinery platform. We transform non-wood agricultural waste into high-value industrial enzymes and advanced biomaterials, with a focus on the textile and wastewater treatment industries. Our technology capitalizes on cost-effective, scalable, and circular manufacturing, tailored for Indian biomass, aiming to reduce farm waste burning and import dependence. Committed to sustainability, we aim to revolutionize the use of agricultural residues in industrial processes and sustainable materials production.


Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Co-Founder at Cellumantra Biorefinery Pvt. Ltd. with an investment component. The Co-Founder will be instrumental in driving strategic direction, business development, fundraising efforts, and overall operational oversight of the startup. The responsibilities include fostering partnerships, active involvement in marketing and sales strategies, identifying funding opportunities, conducting high-level research to scale the business, and ensuring alignment with the company’s mission and sustainability goals.


Qualifications

  • Strong Analytical Skills to assess market opportunities, interpret data, and drive strategic decision-making
  • Excellent Communication ability to facilitate partnerships and articulate complex ideas clearly and effectively
  • Experience in Marketing and Sales, including creating strategies for business growth and building client relationships
  • Proficiency in Research capabilities to identify trends, develop innovative approaches, and optimize processes
  • Passion for sustainability and green technology innovations
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proven track record of leadership and business development
  • Prior experience with startups or the biorefinery/biotech sector is a strong advantage
