We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant for a full-time, on-site position based in Ahmedabad. The Senior Accountant will oversee daily accounting operations, including preparing financial statements, managing budgets, and conducting audits. Responsibilities include account reconciliation, tax compliance, financial reporting, and ensuring adherence to regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will also assist in optimizing accounting processes and contribute to strategic financial planning efforts in support of the company’s goal of sustainable development.
- Strong accounting skills, including financial reporting, budgeting, and account reconciliation
- Knowledge of taxation, compliance regulations, and auditing practices
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools such as Tally, ERP systems, or equivalent
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to analyze financial data and develop strategic insights
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple priorities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a CPA or relevant certification is an advantage
- Experience in an engineering or technical consultancy firm is a plus
