We are looking for a Building Performance Technician to join our growing team! Our specialty is air-sealing new construction housing units using our automated AeroBarrier system and applying modern Building Science. This is a fairly new field, so experience is NOT necessary. Interested candidates are encouraged to checkout our website and Instagram account Cascade_Aerobarrier to learn more. This is a great opportunity for steady year around indoor construction work. On the job training is provided.
Responsibilities:
- Prep interior of house including masking and blocking off HVAC system. (Similar to painting)
- Setup of AeroBarrier equipment.
- Monitor computer system and equipment while house is being air-sealed.
- Inspect and perform equipment repairs and replacements as needed.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance.
- Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience NOT required.
- Valid WA State driver's license.
- Construction experience of any kind.
- Ability to handle physical workload.
- Good communication.
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills.
