Role Purpose
The Construction Manager is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of large-scale construction projects from inception to completion. This individual provides strategic direction, manages project teams, ensures compliance with industry standards, and collaborates with stakeholders to deliver projects on time and within budget. This position typically operates in both office and field environments. The Construction Manager will be required to have a significant on-site presence, attend meetings with stakeholders, and travel as necessary. The role demands flexibility, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Pay Range
The annual salary for this position is $178,750–$250,250. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.

Role Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Set the vision and strategic plan for construction operations, aligning project goals with the organization's mission and business objectives.
- Project Oversight: Direct and supervise multiple project managers and construction teams, ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.
- Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage multimillion-dollar project budgets, allocate resources effectively, and monitor financial performance.
- Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, architects, engineers, regulatory agencies, and company executives, ensuring transparent and effective communication.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and minimizing project disruptions.
- Business Development: Participate in business development efforts, including proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and relationship building with new and existing clients.
- Policy and Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to improve construction processes, adopt new technologies, and implement best practices for operational excellence.
- Associate’s degree in either Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Technical or Building Automation focused degree
- 10+ years of progressive experience in construction management, with significant leadership responsibility on large-scale projects.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Business, or related field.
- Proven experience in sales within the commercial building and HVAC controls industry.
- Established network of industry contacts and relationships.
- Skilled in value engineering control system designs and proposing cost-effective alternatives.
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.).
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong multitasking skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Effective communicator across all levels of an organization
