Carrefour GS, a leading global retailer, is seeking a strategic and structured Senior CSR Manager – Southeast Asia (SEA) to lead our regional sustainability efforts and drive transversal CSR excellence. This role is based in Hong Kong reporting to Global Sourcing CSR & Quality system Director. The dual-function role involves overseeing compliance across Southeast Asia and acting as the global reference for reporting, methodology, and Group-wide coordination within the Global Sourcing function.


Responsibilities:

Regional Compliance & Risk Management

  • Audit Oversight: Lead social and environmental compliance (BSCI, ICS, Higg FEM) for the region.
  • Traceability: Maintain supply chain mapping and verify the integrity of data from the regional sourcing base.
  • Risk & Remediation: Manage regional alert systems and lead the resolution (remediation) of critical social or compliance breaches.
  • Vendor Control: Manage and verify the performance of third-party audit companies and on-site task forces.

Global Strategy & Digital Systems

  • Methodology Development: Evolve and update Global Sourcing CSR procedures to align with new international standards.
  • Digital Transformation: Drive the automation of CSR systems and the development of digital tools to improve efficiency.
  • Global Reporting: Consolidate CSR KPIs across all sourcing regions for high-level internal and external reports.

Stakeholder Engagement & Training

  • Performance Supervision: Challenge and coach traders and suppliers to meet high CSR performance targets.
  • Capacity Building: Design and deliver training programs for internal teams and external suppliers to foster a culture of responsibility.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the regional "Referent" for global teams to ensure local operations align with global corporate goals.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Sustainability, Supply Chain, or Business) preferred.
  • 7 to 10 years in CSR, responsible sourcing, or supply chain compliance within a retail or sourcing environment.
  • Solid knowledge of social audit standards (BSCI, ICS) and Higg FEM.
  • Proven track record in operationalizing CSDDD and global supply chain due diligence frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of the specific environmental risks (chemical management, carbon footprint) inherent in textile and hardline categories.
  • Fluent in English; proficiency in French is a plus.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly across the Southeast Asia region.
