Position


The Technical Support Intern will assist the technical and engineering teams of Carel Sud America

in daily support activities related to product testing, troubleshooting, and technical assistance to customers.


In this role, the intern will work closely with engineers and technical specialists, gaining practical experience with electronic boards, equipment performance analysis, and laboratory testing, while supporting customer service activities and technical documentation. This internship offers an opportunity to develop technical knowledge, analytical skills, and hands-on experience with innovative HVAC control solutions.


Key Responsibilities


Support technical assistance activities, both locally and via phone

Assist in testing electronic boards and Carel product lines

Support the engineering team in troubleshooting and technical problem solving

• Accompany engineers during customer service and technical support routines

• Assist in the preparation of equipment performance reports

• Support laboratory testing, focusing on energy efficiency and product performance

Assist in electrical installations under the supervision of engineers or technical specialists

• Participate in technical meetings and training sessions

• Support daily tasks assigned by the supervisor


Requirements


• Currently pursuing a Technical degree or Engineering degree in Mechatronics or related fields

• No previous professional experience required

• Basic knowledge of spreadsheets and office tools

• Organized, proactive, and willing to learn

• Good interpersonal and teamwork skills
