About The Role
Our Waste
and Resource Recovery Team is looking for an experienced, customer focused
professional to lead our administration team, manage contracts, and support
community education initiatives in the effective delivery of Waste Management
and Litter Services.
In this
role, you will oversee the day to day operations of the Waste and Resource
Recovery Team, including waste management functions, dumped litter and waste,
education programs, and ensuring contractual performance measures and reporting
requirements are met. Our Administration team handles a high volume of requests
for waste services and dumped waste, so strong leadership and organisational
Skills Are Essential.
You will
use your exceptional communication skills to inspire and guide the team in
developing and delivering innovative programs that reduce waste, increase
recycling, and minimise contamination.
We are
seeking a motivated leader with a proven track record of delivering outstanding
customer service in a dynamic, fast paced environment. Your ability to build
strong relationships with stakeholders including the community, contractors,
businesses, and government will be key to your success in this role.

Skills And Experience
- Tertiary qualified in a relevant discipline, or with extensive equivalent experience.
- A proven leader of customer focused team delivering integrated waste management, resource recovery and litter services to the community.
- Essential to have solid experience in CI Property and Rating.
- Experience with applications such as TRIM, Microsoft and Customer Management Systems.
- Experienced in delivering work programs that support waste reforms, climate action initiatives, and effective kerbside and litter service delivery.
- Highly adaptable, with the ability to manage changing priorities and meet tight deadlines in a dynamic operational environment.
- Able to manage changing priorities, meet tight timeframes, and resolve complex operational and service delivery issues.
- An effective negotiator with sound knowledge of government, particularly local government, environments.
- Current Victorian driver’s licence.
- Current Working with Children’s Check.
