Electrical Designer - Industrial Equipment

Summary We are looking for a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our team and support the design of electrical systems for a variety of building projects. This role will focus on lighting design, power distribution, fire alarm systems, engineering calculations, and project support. Typical projects include commercial, K-12, higher education, hospitals, and other building projects. This is NOT a product design role. What We Offer Flexible and competitive pay Multiple location options Medical, dental, and vision coverage What You'll Do Perform electrical engineering design and evaluations for building projects Design lighting systems and perform photometric analysis Design power distribution systems, including panel selection Perform electrical calculations, including short-circuit analysis and building power load calculations Assist with energy code compliance calculations Analyze existing electrical systems for buildings Prepare drawings and layouts using Revit and AutoCAD Review change orders and provide project engineering support Support project managers and teams with RFIs and submittals Prepare technical construction specifications Participate in site visits and inspections Assist with preliminary design, budget analysis, equipment selection, and life-cycle cost analysis Work with project teams to develop practical, detailed electrical design solutions What's Required ~ Engineering degree OR 3+ years of electrical design experience ~2+ years of lighting design experience ~ Experience with AutoCAD and Revit ~ Knowledge of building electrical systems and design ~ Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills ~ Ability to work collaboratively with project teams EIT or PE is preferred but not required.
